Big Island Night Dive with Manta Rays

Published by the Editors at alohaspots.com on February 01, 2010

Travel to the Big Island of Hawaii and scuba dive or snorkel with Manta Rays as the feed on plankton during the night.

Being surrounded by any size group of Manta Rays is truly a sight to behold. There are several dive operators that offer Manta Ray dives on the Big Island of Hawaii. Most of the Manta dives are two tank dives with the first dive acting as an orientation dive before the sun goes down and the second dive is when the action happens. The Manta dive costs around $130 for a two tank dive.

Snorkelers can also see the Mantas from the surface, so the Manta Dive might be of interest to adventurous non-diving family and friends.

Check out the Manta Ray dive packages offered by Jack's Diving Locker and also Kona Honu Divers.
